Symphony Story Time at Delphos Public Library

Experience the beauty of nature through music and story as the Lima Symphony Orchestra presents its newest “Symphony Storytime” program: Seasons! Children and families are invited to journey through spring, summer, autumn, and winter with stories and music that capture the magic of each time of year. Featuring the timeless music of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, this program explores the rich sounds and moods that define each part of the year —
from the first blossoms of spring to the quiet beauty of a snowy winter day.
Each season comes to life with a specially chosen children’s book that pairs perfectly with the music:
Spring: Green on Green by Diane White
Summer: In the Tall, Tall Grass by Denise Fleming
Autumn: Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert
Winter: The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats
Through live musical performance and imaginative storytelling, children will discover how composers and authors alike use sound and words to paint vivid pictures of the world around us.
