“Welcome Aboard” The Infant OT: Feeding and Development, created by Delphos local Nikki Rode to assist mothers and babies with breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and development. Nikki has a passion for teaching evidence-based infant care and supporting families through the “fourth trimester.” Nikki has her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Findlay. She is a CLC (Certified Lactation Counselor), pursuing IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) to better serve breastfeeding mothers. She has specialty training in tethered oral tissues (lip and tongue ties) and how that affects feeding, breathing, and speech. She is a certified infant massage coach, and frequently holds local classes for parents to attend and learn hands-on techniques. She is trained in the Tummy Time Method, which is a scientific technique on how to assist babies in learning/enjoying tummy time. Nikki sees patients at Morris Chiropractic in Delphos.
