Ivy Hutch
Formally known as Frontier Flowers, Ivy Hutch was purchased in 2012 by Ashley and Aaron Etzkorn and relocated to its current location in Delphos on Elida Ave. Over the past seven years, Ivy Hutch has diversified to more than just a “flower shop”. Ashley has a great passion for what she does and is able to bring that passion to life every day at Ivy Hutch. Ivy Hutch and its employees wish to touch people on a personal level with great service, a variety of arrangements and unique gifts along with personal engraving making a visit to the shop a fun and creative experience. Ivy Hutch is continuously striving to push the envelope in the floral industry without losing the one-on-one attention each of their customers deserves.
Ivy Hutch has a hand in several community events and fundraisers. They donate time, services, funds, and products to Delphos Canal Days Toast to the Town, The Annual Chamber Dinner, Delphos Aware Trick or Treat, Relay for Life, St. John’s Fall Festival and Children’s Festival, Lima Memorial Journey Benefit, Community Health Professionals Beacon of Hope Dinner, St. John’s Benefit Auction, Delphos Jefferson Benefit Auction, Trinity United Methodist Church Christmas Bazaar, Meadows of Delphos Silent Auction Fundraiser, Phi Delta Sorority Purse Bingo and Several Private Fundraisers. Ivy Hutch supports both local schools and is part of the Mentor Program, host Freshman Ag Students and advertise in the school yearbooks.
Ivy Hutch also promotes other local businesses. They partner and refer fellow local businesses for engraving items, printing for weddings and other events and work with Inter-Faith Thrift shop in recycling vases in return for arrangements at no charge. Ivy Hutch offers classes in Delphos and surrounding towns bringing business to the locations the classes are held.
There is a vision of Ivy Hutch being a reason people travel to Delphos and one for people to stay and shop local. The smiles that walk out the door on a daily basis is something Ivy Hutch can’t place a value for what it is worth to the community. Delphos is their home, and their goal each day is to make it a little brighter.
Congratulations to Ivy Hutch as being nominated for Small Business of the Year. We appreciate you continuing to serve Delphos and our surrounding areas, offering us a wide array of options for keeping our business local.
