2020 Delphos Chamber Awards Economic Impact Business of the Year

D&D Ingredient Distributors, Inc. 

D&D Ingredient Distributors, Inc. began as D&D Grain in 1976 when Donald (Doc) and Dorothy Miller decided try their hand at a new career path.  With 7 kids and a leap of faith, they purchased an oat cleaning business with little experience but a lot of drive.  Over time, the business became successful and grew from cleaning oats for racehorses in Kentucky to marketing over 650 products to feed and pet food manufacturers and supplying animal premixes and blends throughout the US and nearly 30 other countries.  To reflect this growth and change in the business D&D Grain thus became D&D Ingredient Distributors, Inc.

D&D Ingredient Distributors, Inc. has helped the county financially with their reconstruction of Bockey and Kill Rd and has assisted with the expansion of State and Kill Rd. intersections.   They are one of the largest employers of the Delphos community and are continually working to become the employer of choice in the area.

D&D Ingredient Distributors contributes to the Kids Backpack Weekend Meals Program in both Delphos and Spencerville Area Schools.  They volunteer at the Delphos “Summer Kids Breakfast” program and donated new kitchen appliances to the organization. Funds were donated to Landeck St. John the Baptist Church for their central air system. The Miller family annually assembles several hygiene kits for the Lima Civic Center Community Thanksgiving Meal offering.  D&D donated funds to Franklin Elementary for the new gym floor and support the Delphos Jefferson FFA by purchasing their Thanksgiving Turkeys and hams for all their employees.
